“I chose Clatsop Community Bank because it’s a local bank, and as an owner of a local business, I appreciate the value of keeping money here in our community,” said Erin Jackson, owner of Divine Grounds.

“I also like that the staff at Clatsop Community Bank knows me by name,” Erin added. “And, I was able to save a lot on banking fees.”

Erin, formerly a nurse, bought Divine Grounds in 2009 so she could have a more flexible schedule and spend more time with her young children. “I really like interacting with our customers and that each day brings something new,” she said. “It’s an easygoing environment, and we’ve always had a loyal customer base,” she added. That loyalty extends to her employees, too. Each member of the staff has been onboard for three years or more.

“We really focus on service and consistency,” Erin said. “We know our regulars by name and we know their routines when it comes to coffee. We also serve Sleepy Monk, which is organic, locally roasted, and has a really strong following,” she added.

Divine Grounds is on Highway 101 south of Seaside, just off the exit from Highway 26. “It’s the first stop for people coming to the coast, and the last stop before heading out,” Erin said.
