“My previous bank didn’t see the vision I had for this piece of property,” said Ben Doney, owner of Ben’s Computer Store in Warrenton.

Ben spoke from the new location of his store, which backs up to SE Discovery Lane (in front of Costco) in Warrenton. He owns the building, which is fully occupied with three adjacent tenants. The store will move from it’s current location on Dolphin Avenue to the new location in October.

“Clatsop Community Bank shared my vision for this property, and understood the potential for customer traffic,” Ben said. “They’ve been really responsive,” he added. Ben does all of his day-to-day banking with Clatsop as well, and likes that people know him by name when he visits a branch. “They understand the community and are invested,” he said. “It’s not just a transaction.”

Ben has been in business for sixteen years, having started his company as a teenager in his parents’ garage. “We build custom computers that are tailored to each customer’s needs,” he said. “And we’re experts at migrating data from old machines to new ones. Our goal is to have the customer’s new computer 100 percent ready-to-go when it leaves our shop,” he added. Ben’s Computer Store serves business and personal computing needs, including networking, repairs, retail sales and onsite service. The store is also a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher.

“Much of our business comes from repeat customers and referrals,” Ben said. “We distinguish ourselves by delivering personal service, even after the sale. That’s what sets us apart,” he added.
